Pierce Jr./Sr. High School has a 7-12 grade enrollment of 392 students. We have 32 certificated staff members working with our students. Our facility is six years old and offers an excellent learning environment to our students. We require 22O credits for graduation. Our requirements are as follows:
English- 4 years
Social Science- 4 years
Science- 2 years
Math- 2 years
Physical Education- 1 year
Computer Application- 1 year
We also offer a broad range of electives in vocational fields, fine arts, humanities, and media. We have used an intensive block schedule for five years.

The entire staff is directly involved in the development of curriculum and the writing of assessments to guide the implementation of the curriculum and the students' learning. The Curriculum Leadership Institute's model has been used to direct this process, leading us to have our own High Achievement Unit Outcomes judged as equal to or more rigorous than the Nebraska state standards.
