West Point District Information:

West Point Public Schools is a Class III School District located in Northeast Nebraska. West Point has a unique educational process in that there are three parochial school systems within the district. The demographics of the West Point School District have changed substantially in the past decade with a steady increase in the number of minority students and also students who qualify for free/reduced meals. To meet the needs of our changing demographics, the district currently provides ELL instruction and migrant programs to qualified students.

We provide a school-wide Title I program for all elementary students. We started an alternative education program at the high school in 2004-05. College credit courses are available for high school students include:  English Composition I & II, Advanced Speech, Physical Science, Algebra/Trig, and Calculus.

The West Point Public Schools also has a comprehensive special education program. West Point Public Schools continuously strive to provide a top quality education for all students.
